They finally caught the guy just a couple moments ago. At about 8:44 pm on 4/19/2013.
Many people and I were cooped up in home or indoors. I went outside with my mom for a while for fresh air a little before the lock-down was lifted, and came back five minutes later to find that it was lifted. To my surprise, about half an hour later, they found the guy based off of a real lead.
Man, many people are sighing with relief that he's caught. But people are still worried that there are still explosives around.
I don't even feel comfortable to go into Boston for a while. At least not in the densely populated areas like Copley.
I don't even really know what to say. This whole experience is surreal. And nobody has ever experienced a city lock-down of this degree before. *sighs* It's almost like watching a really long movie because, like I said, it's so surreal.
I hope people don't become prejudice against Slavic people or Muslims again or now because of this incident. Not all people are like this. Nor will they ever understand people like this.
I've been following this all day. And now, I don't know how to express the relief when I say, at least this manhunt is over.
My deepest condolences for those injured and lost in Monday's bombing. But I hope some level of normalcy returns to their lives and as well as all of the people in the Boston area.
